7kW nominal output and capable of burning coal and all other solid fuels. Primary and secondary air controls, with tertiary combustion provide complete control over the output, with a range of 3.25 to 8.5 kW.
A large ceramic window by Schott gives a good view of the fire and is kept clear by a superior pre-heated air-wash system; which is channelled around the combustion chamber and directed towards the window from the top and sides.
150mm top flue exit - European connection. A half metre long connecting / converter pipe is included free with the purchase.
An efficient design with a dual layer steel convection system: warm air is drawn in at the bottom, passes around the combustion chamber, and exits through vents at the top of the stove distributing heat evenly and efficiently into the room.
Fully lined with firebricks, air tight door seals and simple but effective air flow controls allow excellent controllability and burning characteristics.
Certified to BS EN13240. 2 year warranty.

Correspondence with Greymetal was quick and efficient and after being given several options I decided upon the Tatu 7kw as we have a large open space to heat and at this price it will definitely save us money in the long run. (Posted on 27/06/2016) - An excellent piece of kit!Review by Mr Milsom

Price Value Quality
What I thought could have been a problem (the inability to shut the fire down with the controls) is a function of the quality of the logs; very dry logs (kiln dried) will ignite and burn well even when all the vents are closed. Clean glass, very warm and minimal ash.
Poorer quality logs (from a friend) that have a higher moisture content are a pain to light and the stove takes a while to heat up and produce good draw. These can produce smoke and will darken the glass, but simply open up the secondary draft control and the glass clears, no smoke the dire will roar!
One word of caution/advice: should the bottom grill become blocked or if the ash box is too full then poor quality logs do not burn well.
With that obvious proviso the stove is wonderful and we're very, very pleased. (Posted on 25/01/2016)
