You will probably need to install a cowl or terminal on top of your chimney pot to offer some weather and bird protection. PACK CONTAINS 1 x Top Plate - Ø150mm 1 x Top Clamp - Ø150mm 1 x Top Insert - Ø150mm 1 x Nose Cone - Ø150mm 1 x Increasing Adapter from 5" Single Wall Flue pipe to 6" liner - Ø125mm SW to Ø150mm Flex 1 x Chimney Notice Plate FLUE LINER INSTALLATION: Flue Liner should always be fitted from the top. Make sure the arrows are pointing upwards (gas flow). 1.Have the chimney swept and checked professionally to see if a liner is required. 2. Make sure the liner will go down the chimney e.g. by pulling down a 1 metre section of the liner you will be using. 3.Check your chimney pot is in good condition, if you are NOT using a suspended chimney pot cowl then remove the pot from the stack. 4. Secure a length of rope longer than the Flue Liner to the Nose Cone (ordered separately as part of a fitting kit). 5. Attach the Nose Cone onto the end of the Flue Liner, making sure the arrows on the Flue Liner are pointing away from the Nose Cone in an upward direction so when the liner is installed the arrows will be pointing UP to the top of the chimney. 6. Pull the liner down the chimney using the rope and at the same time have someone at the top of the chimney pushing the Flue Liner down. MAINTENANCE: Chimneys serving solid fuel appliances should be checked every 6 months and swept at least once a year.
