Details
The adjustable pipe slides inside the flue pipe below (usually the free AC pipe that we supply with every stove).
It MUST be used with another flue pipe.
Use the enclosed bracket to secure the Adjustable Pipe to the required length.
Fill any gap between the adjustable pipe and the fixed length pipe with either Fire Cement or High Temperature Sealant.
European type heavy gauge (2mm) steel pipe with matt black painted finish.
Can be cut to length.Type EN 10025.
Used to connect the stove and Flue Liner / Chimney Stack / Twin Wall Flue System.
CANNOT be used to pass through ceilings or walls, or outdoors.
INSTALLATION
Distance to combustible materials (including fire rated plaster board): 500 mm minimum (or UK regs state > 3 times the diameter of the flue,
150mm diameter Flue Pipe should be 450mm away from combustible materials.
The smaller spigot end should be pointing downward to allow water to flow within the pipe.
Joints can be sealed with a fine jointing compound (flueseal, ceramix, fire cement is too coarse). Joins between the flue pipe and stove, and between the flue pipe and twin wall chimney or flue liner, may require a fire proof glass rope also.
MAINTENANCE
Inspect the chimney at least every 6 months and clean every 12 months, more often when using coal.
Use a pipe with an access door, or clean from within the stove when possible.
